@Rckwrestling@Top100Rick player would need to hit nine greens (and avg two putt those) and then have a 1/3 up and down on the other nine holes, for example. seems like something a 10 hcp could do every few dozen rounds.
if that's the case it would be much more likely someone shooting 60 on tour.
@TourSwingsTommy@gator347@BrianL99 everybody knows approach is the highest differentiator. but 15 hcp'rs don't practice short game "relentlessly", and most of them are simply ineffective with wedges. and it is indeed insane to think "there's little difference in chipping & putting, between a 15 & 5."
@MidwestGolfJake@RickBrown915012 some years ago I fixed my slice simply by setting up closed and intentionally hitting a pull. seem like the simplest thing in the world but I had been playing regularly for like three years before it occurred to me.
@jarodhitchcock in my experience very few working age avg golfers have slow swing speed. most have driver swing speed well over 100mph. what they don't have is control of the club head.
so I agree it won't affect them much, but because they so rarely hit it pure enough for it to matter.
