@Okie_Rancher Nobody seems to acknowledge that he has jumped from job to job every couple of years and has absolutely no experience that comes close to running something as big as an entire state. Talk is cheap.
“We found 146,000 kids so far. Some of these kids claimed that they were raped over 600 times. I don't care who you are. If you can't stand for law enforcement to go find these kids, who are you?” @SecMullinDHS
⚖️ What is a Judicial Retention Election in Oklahoma?
In Oklahoma, most appellate judges (on the Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals, and Court of Civil Appeals) are initially appointed by the governor from a list provided by the independent Judicial Nominating Commission. They don’t run in contested partisan elections. Instead, after serving an initial period, they must face a nonpartisan “Yes or No” retention vote every six years on the general election ballot.
🔹 Voters simply choose “Yes” to keep the judge or “No” to remove them.
🔹 A simple majority of “Yes” votes retains them for another six-year term.
🔹 If they lose (or choose not to stand), the seat opens, and the governor appoints a replacement through the same process.
🔹 Judges cannot campaign or raise funds due to ethics rules, so these races are usually low-profile unless outside groups become involved, as happened in 2024 when one Supreme Court justice was removed for the first time in state history.
This system is designed to balance judicial independence with voter accountability. Because turnout and awareness are often low, informed voting matters.
📅 Who is up for retention on November 3, 2026?
As of early June 2026, the official list will be finalized closer to the September 4 filing deadline, as judges may choose not to run. The following justices and judges have terms expiring in January 2027 and are expected to appear on the ballot, subject to updates or retirements.
Oklahoma Supreme Court (Typically 4 Seats)
⚖️ M. John Kane IV
Chief Justice, District 1
Appointed by Gov. Kevin Stitt (R)
⚖️ Richard Darby
Appointed by Gov. Mary Fallin (R)
⚖️ Dana Kuehn
Vice Chief Justice
Appointed by Gov. Kevin Stitt (R)
⚖️ Travis Jett
Recent Stitt appointee
All current appointees trace to Republican governors, unlike the 2024 cycle, which focused heavily on some Democratic-appointed justices.
Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals (Typically 2 Seats)
⚖️ Gary Lumpkin
Long-serving judge appointed by Gov. Henry Bellmon (R) in 1988
⚖️ Robert (Rob) Hudson
Appointed by Gov. Mary Fallin (R)
Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals (Typically Approximately 4 Seats)
Four judges from Oklahoma’s intermediate appellate court are also expected to appear on the ballot. Exact names continue to be updated by election and court tracking organizations.

@chefsevenn Cinnamon toast is NOT a “poor man” food. It’s a treat that everyone enjoys, irregardless of status or annual income.
(It’s only considered “poor” by insufferable, pompous asses.
Fine. Leave California. You’re stupid NOT to and we’re frankly surprised you’ve stayed there this long.
But don’t EVEN think that you can move to a Red state and continue to vote Democrat.
Where you came from is SH!T, precisely BECAUSE you voted Democrat.
If you think the great (RED) state you’re moving to is going to sit by and watch you (and other Blue State Refugees) ruin it by voting Democrat, get ready for a rude awakening.
@japan_nobunaga I’ll bet I’m the only one who picked this one: Team Flakes.
Team flakes were a combination of rice, corn, wheat and oats. Four different grains — the crunch of corn and rice with the heft of wheat and oats. Nothing even close to it since they stopped making it.
Last year, the SPLC added TPUSA to their so-called "hate map," placing us alongside neo-Nazi organizations and the Ku Klux Klan. The day before Charlie was murdered, they published a newsletter attacking him and Turning Point USA.
Today, they doubled down and stood by that designation.
They have to, because it's their real mission. As we now know thanks to the Trump DOJ, the SPLC itself funds violent extremist groups to stoke fear among the public, so they can stick organizations like Turning Point USA on their "hate map" and tar us by association.
Turning Point USA has, from the beginning, stood for open conversations and respectful debate regardless of creed or color.
All along, the real hate group is the SPLC, which recklessly sows hate every day with its lies.
🚨 WOW! Dr. ALVEDA KING just said it PERFECTLY on Capitol Hill
"I still have a dream. I dream that one day we will move beyond black power and white power and embrace GOD'S power and human dignity!"
"I reject the notion that Americans who hold traditional Christian beliefs should be treated as THREATS or TERRORISTS simply because we disagree with a prevailing political thought!" 🙏🏻
"I dream that Americans will one day see each other, not as enemies, but as neighbors. I dream that we will hear each other, see each other, and recognize that every human life has value from the womb to the tomb and beyond."
"We are as scripture teaches, one blood, one human race. And if we remember that truth, we can build a future worthy of the sacrifices made by those who came before us."
"We must speak out for truth and against the forces that would manufacture hate, fear, division, and violence simply to line their pockets and further their political ambitions."
"God bless America, God bless you!"

@Cernovich@Katy_Faust What we’re seeing now is the result of DEmoralizing. All of the problems you are citing have been increasing exponentially since it became fashionable to diss marriage, commitment, fidelity and taking responsibility for one’s actions — all MORAL values.
