On Saturday a group from chambers took on the #YorkshireThreePeaks Challenge to raise funds for the @spirefoundation - completing the 24 mile trek in 10hrs 14mins.

As part of Care Leavers Week we want to tell you a bit about the work we are doing to help. We are currently providing support for a care leaver to fund an MSc in Structural Engineering.

We are committed to ensuring his studies are fully funded. We are going to need your help to achieve funding for 2021-2022.

We respect this young person's right to privacy and will provide updates, with his permission, when we can. His course is underway and like most students this year it is a little different with remote learning. We are committed to helping him succeed.

The young person we are supporting is a care leaver who has already achieved great things and has a first degree in engineering. To pursue his dream career he needs a degree in Structural Engineering.

Funding is very difficult for Masters degrees. More so if you are a care leaver. Along with another charity we have already funded his first year starting in September 2020

We want to introduce you to Spire Foundation. We offer financial support to individuals who are adults with learning or physical disabilities or care experienced. We fund raise to provide grants for education, training or other educational projects.
