Privacy by design shouldn’t mean "bolt-on" mixers.
It should mean the ledger itself forgets.
#Elektron is testing that hypothesis live.
105 miners strong.
Happy to announce! 🥳🎉
The Solo Pool and PPLNS Pool update is ready. If you want to try it before installing it on your local server, here are the public pools:
PPLNS: https://t.co/Il7vyv188y
PPLNS2: https://t.co/hcZcaJZhHE
SOLO POOL: https://t.co/zH6TfviCbp
Mempool 1: https://t.co/zyuryzjphk
Mempool 2: https://t.co/qM81Fbu2YJ
Mempool 3: https://t.co/zyuryzjphk
We have some important performance tweaks thanks to @spiroflex and @ScorpioNN_12. Thank you guys, love ya.
We have a registry for public pools and mempools at https://t.co/D1dUfQSqs9. Feel free to fork it and add your public pool and mempool if you have one. Fork the repo, edit the file, open a PR and we will add it ASAP.
#Elektron is the real cyberpunk blockchain and we will prove that a blockchain without history is sounder money! 😎⚡️
@kutlusoy Hi, I connected the pool's behavior seems erratic; duplicate shares are around 97%, at first it seems to work fine, then it starts repeating the same nonce for a while, and finally, it gets stuck in an endless loop of duplicates. I'm wondering if I'm the only one experiencing ?
> be Linus Torvalds
> build Linux because you don't like your operating system
> give it away for free
> accidentally create the world's
biggest open-source project
> power most of the internet without most people knowing your name
> write Git because existing tools annoyed you
> refuse to become a billionaire CEO
> keep reviewing code 30+ years later
> still care more about clean code than hype
> change computing forever by solving your own problems
maybe the biggest impact comes from building, not branding
@kutlusoy The best things come in small packages 😏
I've participated in other projects, some worked out, others didn't, but #Elektron has something different that's exciting. We're a small group, it's true, but maybe in time we'll proudly say "I was there"...
@kutlusoy Having the app on the Play Store would be great—it would give it a huge amount of visibility—as would getting it listed on a public pool specializing in home mining (like rt-pool or luckydogpool, for example).
While Bitcoin's BIP-110 debate drags on, Elektron Net is already live - solving it elegantly, without touching Bitcoin's sacred beliefs.

This is the Way.
Bitcoin in 2026 is still the strongest monetary network humanity has ever built. But it is bleeding from wounds Satoshi never saw coming.
Three pools control the majority of hashrate.
Full nodes are getting heavier every year.
Chain analysis companies turn the permanent public ledger into a global surveillance tool.
BIPs turn into culture wars and small chain splits.
The original vision of peer-to-peer electronic cash that frees the individual is slowly being buried under industrial mining, archival bloat, and forensic transparency.
So what would Nakamoto do if he was still here and wanted to fix these problems without ripping Bitcoin apart?
He would not invent a new consensus.
He would not abandon Proof-of-Work.
He would not touch the 21 million.
He would look at the one design decision that made sense in 2009 and became a liability in 2026: the eternal, ever-growing history.
Elektron Net is that decision reversed.
We keep the Bitcoin consensus spirit completely intact:
- SHA-256d.
- 21 million hard cap.
- Same emission schedule (just scaled to 60-second blocks).
- No pre-mine. No founder allocation. Pure PoW.
Then we make two precise, surgical changes:
1. Block time → 60 seconds. Cash should feel like cash.
2. Mandatory 137-day pruning. After 137 days the full transaction history is mathematically erased. Headers stay forever. The current UTXO set stays forever. Everything else is gone.
To keep the system trustless after history is deleted, every single block carries an on-chain UTXO attestation. The header chain from genesis + the continuous chain of state commitments becomes the new source of truth. The Bloodline is cut. The attested state remains.
The result:
- Nodes stay small forever.
- Long-term chain analysis loses its permanent database.
- Deep reorgs beyond 137 days become physically impossible.
- The individual is no longer forever bound to every past transaction.
- We get closer to the original idea of digital cash that actually protects people from corporations, governments, and bad actors.
We did not rebuild Bitcoin.
We removed the part that turned a peer-to-peer cash system into an archival surveillance machine, and we replaced it with cryptographic forgetting + continuous state commitment.
Stoic. Minimal. Cyberpunk.
This is the Way.
