So basically Trump and co first took the oil in Venezuela and now they are disrupting oil to have higher prices.
That's a new form of insider trading I haven't seen before lmao.
When Rothschild said "Buy when there's blood in the streets" he didn't mean "buy every single -2% dip"
When Buffett said "Buy & hold" he didn't mean "baghold unprofitable shitcos"
When Druckenmiller said "Diversification is overrated" he didn't mean "full-port a meme stock"
A month ago, I ended a 10 year relationship
Ten years is not a chapter. It’s a whole era. It’s memories stacked on memories. Places, routines, jokes that only make sense to two people. The kind of history that becomes part of your identity without you even noticing
And when something like that ends, people think the pain is only about losing the person
But the truth is, you also lose a version of yourself
For some reason, my brain keeps explaining it like a market cycle. Maybe because that’s how I learned to survive hard periods.
Bulls and bears
High conviction moments
Long drawdowns
Hope, denial, acceptance and then rebuilding
At the start, it was a bull market. The kind you remember forever. The first months, maybe the first years, where everything feels easy. You don’t need to “try” because love is doing the work for you.
You feel chosen. You feel seen. You believe the story will stay like this forever.
But then the cycle changes.
The last four years, it wasn’t what it looked like. It wasn’t that “happy place” that a woman or a man deserves.
It became heavy. It became hard. It became one of those bear markets where you keep holding because you remember the top, you remember the good days and you tell yourself it will come back if you just wait a bit longer.
And that’s the dangerous part
Because being with someone isn’t a duty. It’s not a contract you maintain because time has passed. It’s a living thing. It needs care. It needs honesty. It needs two people who still want to make each other feel safe, loved and happy
People say the easy part is leaving. And in a way, it is.
Exiting the market is one click. Walking away is one decision.
The hard part is the question that comes before it.
Did you actually try?
Did you rebalance? Did you communicate? Did you protect what mattered? Did you do the uncomfortable work, not just the emotional work but the real work?
And I did try.
But then there’s another question that no one prepares you for
What happens when trying to fix it starts costing you yourself?
That’s when things get blurry. You stop seeing reality. You start seeing what you want to see. You live inside your own illusions because the alternative is scary. Fear is not just fear of being alone. It’s fear of admitting you stayed too long. Fear of the unknown. Fear of starting over. Fear that maybe this ending means you failed.
And it’s not an easy decision to leave your comfort zone, even when your comfort zone is painful
Sometimes even the people who truly care about you can see it before you do. Friends will try to wake you up. They’ll say it gently or they’ll say it hard, but they’ll say it. They’ll remind you what you deserve and what the other person deserves too.
I'm feeling more than lucky for the real ones, i really love you
But at the end of the day, nobody can click that button for you
You are the one clicking the change button
That’s what I did.
And I won’t lie, after the decision, the silence hits different
Loneliness is not just “being alone.” It’s being alone with your thoughts, with your memories, with the empty spaces where someone used to exist.
Many of us can’t handle it. And that’s okay. Don’t judge yourself for that. You’re still a person. You’re still human. You’re just going through a phase where your nervous system is trying to understand a new reality.
And here’s something you need to learn
Don’t force it
(hope that i don't force many things lately)
Don’t force calls
Don’t force night outs
Don’t chase the next person like it’s the only thing that matters
Because it won’t solve anything. It won’t heal anything. It only covers the wound for a moment and then you’re back in the same place, just with a new distraction.
The real work is quieter.
It’s rebuilding your relationship with yourself.
It’s sitting with the truth.
It’s accepting that you lost a part of you and deciding that you’re going to find it again.
Many told me something that hit me.
“Come on Petro, you were like a free man for a long time. It wasn’t really a relationship.”
And yes, that’s half true
Even if it wasn’t healthy, it was still something. It still had a beginning that was beautiful. It still gave me moments that I will never regret. And it still became one of the hardest things I’ve had to face.
I’ve faced death of loved ones. I’ve faced other heavy situations in life. And I’m genuinely grateful that after ten years, I handled this ending the way I did. Not perfectly, but honestly
Because there isn’t a best way.
There’s only your way.
And for the romantic ones, I’ll say this.
Love isn’t selectable
You don’t choose it like a product. You don’t plan it like a strategy.
You fall in love when you don’t even think you need it. It just happens. It takes you.
But peace, peace is a choice.
Peace is what you protect
Peace is what you build
Peace is what you stop negotiating away
So don’t be afraid to lose what you have
Just be honest about what you have.
Realise it. Appreciate it. Be pleasant about the real moments, the true ones, the ones that were love and not just habit
Because after every bear market, the only thing worth keeping is what was real.
And the real people will stay.
You won’t be alone forever.
You will find yourself again.
You will remember who you were before the noise.
And you’ll become someone even stronger after it.
Season is a lifetime, but a lifetime has many seasons
And this one, for me, was the ending of an era and the start of learning how to live with more truth, more peace and more love
"Are cryptocurrencies finished?"
"Will trading always be like this?"
Guys... no. 😄
And I can say this with confidence: I've been trading for almost 20 years and one thing I've learned very well is that market phases always change. It's inevitable.
There are times when everything is slow, messy, frustrating. Endless ranges, fake moves, few clear opportunities. This is when most people give up or force random trades.
Then, without warning, the tide turns. Liquidity comes in, movements become directional, and those who are still lucid... make money like never before.
The point is not to ask whether crypto is over.
The point is: are you able to adapt?
Trading is not about having a 'magic' strategy that always works.
It's about knowing how to read the market phase and shaping your approach accordingly:
👉🏻when the market is dead …protect your capital, do less, survive
👉🏻when the market opens up …push, but methodically
👉🏻when everyone gets euphoric …stay cool
Those who really make money in the long run are not the most aggressive, but those who stay in the game long enough to be ready when the right moment comes.
This is key.
Not the market.
Not the narrative.
But your ability to adapt.
$80 a month and a smile
That was my “salary” at 14, working on a small Greek island
My parents were already divorced
Most of my time was with my grandparents and my uncle who was in a wheelchair
This isn’t an emotional post
Just my journey
For the next 9 years it was the same loop
Summers working with tourists
Winters school or university
Same rhythm, same grind
Service work teaches you fast
You level up your communication
You learn to wear the smile like a uniform even when you don’t feel it
In winters I was studying Automation Engineering
Trying to taste Athens with the money I had earned during summer
And yes, until 2018 I still needed support from my family
Summer 2018 I made a choice, i won’t do waiter work again
My last boss told me something that hit hard
Go work for 500 to 600 in what you studied instead of making 3 to 4k with us
I’m too stubborn not to do it
So I waited until August
And on August 1st I started working in a company that monitored and serviced photovoltaic systems
Fast forward to 2022
I became Operations Manager
We were 9 people on my first day
We were 67 when I quit on August 31st 2024
My last salary there was 1,300€
Too low for the title, the pressure, the needs of that role I guess
But that’s not the point
Because while I was building that career, something else was building me
My blockchain journey started in 2018
And through I got the chance to try it full time
Lower salary
Higher conviction
And a dream
So tell me
Is it delusional to chase your dreams?
On May 1st 2023 @MetadudesX was born
A Greek token gated community
A hub that was missing during my first 5 years in crypto
Meeting people
Contributing to something bigger
Helping others take their first steps
Speaking, building, co working with people you admire
I stepped out of my comfort zone so many times it stopped feeling like a comfort zone
• We started one of the first crypto Space series in
Greece with a friend from Metadudes
• Weekly YouTube talks
• Almost 30 podcasts hosted
• Articles written
• Events attended
And while all that was happening, our team was already building dApps on chain
Next step
A new project going live in Q1, built on Sui
Now here’s the part where some people roll their eyes
Come on Petros you started with salaries and ended up flexing titles
If you think I’m flexing, you don’t know me and there’s no point staying here
Because my point was never look at me
My point is
Life isn’t about money
It isn’t about jobs
It isn’t about titles
It isn’t about what society thinks you should be
It’s about chill, love and chaos
That’s all ladies and dudes
Chill with friends who truly love you
Not just the ones you love
Love every moment
Every single minute
And chaos
That magic word that somehow explains everything
Be proud of what you’ve achieved even if it feels small
It’s still bigger than 5 years ago right
Don’t be so greedy
The event that put tokenization on the map returns.
