He told me, "We were trapped in a house in northern Gaza. The army was announcing over loudspeakers that everyone inside should come out with their hands on their heads, and that the army wouldn't kill them."

He said, "I didn't know what to do except leave. My family and I left the house one by one, with our hands on our heads. A soldier called us to stand against a wall. Suddenly, I heard gunfire, and I didn't wake up until I was in the hospital. I learned that they had executed my entire family. I was injured and bled for a long time, and I survived after ambulances arrived. One of the doctors told me that Israel had killed my entire family, including my mother, father, wife, and two children." He told me the story with eyes full of sorrow, pain, and tears.

This is one of the testimonies of Israel's terrorism against families in Gaza.

Alfie is a 5.5 year old male Roan Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home. 
Alfie hasn't been around kids and can be defensive around other animals - a bit barkey. 
He is chipped and healthy with no medical issues. 
Alfie is very loving and affectionate. He loves the outdoors and would thrive with someone who likes to be active. 
He loves food and is not very fussy when it comes to eating. He gets chicken meat and kibble and also loves fish. 
If you need to go out , he can be left on his own and is well behaved. 
He would however like someone who is around most of the time. 
He likes to be close to his owner, either sitting on the sofa or sleeping in the bed. 
Alfie isn't bad on the lead, he can pull so will need someone who is strong enough to control him. 
He loves treats and loves to meet new people, but can get excited and jump up. 
He would be best in a home with teenagers rather than young kids. 
Alfie is registered with the vets and is excellent at sit and paw. 
He is obsessed with balls and will play all day with them. 
He knows his name and likes to play hide and seek with his tommy turtle toy. 
This is a very reluctant rehoming as his owner loves him very much, however due to a change, Alfie needs a new home.

Some dogs walk into a shelter with confidence. Mandy, ID#116665, arrived with cautious little steps and hopeful eyes.
This sweet 2-year-old girl weighs 41 pounds and arrived on April 27 after she was found alone at a dog park in the Lawrenceville area. No owner ever came looking, so now she’s hoping for a fresh start with someone patient and kind. During her photoshoot, Mandy was friendly, sweet, treat motivated, and a little timid and nervous. She seems like the kind of dog who just needs someone to show her the world isn’t so scary anymore.
Mandy has been on a couple of outings with staff and other pups and has done GREAT! She loves people and pups! We don’t cat test (the cats requested “less eye contact, more snacks”), because we don’t want to add stress. If you’d like the most current info, give us a call! Our kennel staff knows all the latest updates and gossip. Meet and greets are required because dogs have opinions too… and sometimes those opinions are “absolutely not, Brenda.”
