The whole privatisation model is fundamentally structured to funnel cash to shareholders.
Until the regulator's primary purpose is to legally enforce provision of service before all other factors, nothing will change.

There's so much the public can do when politicians dispense impactful policies without any mandate.
Grassroots activism is the only way to go, we must mobilize the public via community action.
I have been speaking at anti-freeports/SEZs events in London, Luton, South Devon (hosted by George Monbiot), Liverpool, and several meetings in Scotland.
I have written articles for the Bylines network and spoken on radio with Carol Vorderman, Caledon Radio, and the JohnDrummond show.
I am one person, an unpaid volunteer. I suggest you contact and invite your local councillors, MPs, and speakers with expertise on deregulated Freeports/SEZs. My experience is that audiences are completely in the dark about what's happening and are visibly outraged after hearing what's happening to their communities.

Making the general public aware of SEZs is only part of the problem. Is there any way to halt them?
Are there any legal avenues against these CPOs?
