@voltagex@caseyjohnellis@CrikeyCon@goggan @dooktwit I donβt know. Magnets could be an option, but I wouldnβt want to do that for all comers because 𧲠+ pacemaker = π
I think I saw some magnet backs that could be used with the press, so I may get some just for people with manual dexterity issues.
@caseyjohnellis@CrikeyCon@goggan @dooktwit I did have printouts for mobility impairments but I left them at home by accident.
I brought my badge maker so I could make up badges on the spot. The badge maker itself was cheap (~$100 AUD), and the badges turn out to be really cheap to make.
@caseyjohnellis@CrikeyCon@goggan @dooktwit For those asking:
Pronoun pins covered the usual options, plus I included blank templates so people could customise their pronouns.
No photographs was simply a slash through a camera.
The other two were to notify of visual and hearing related impairments.
@Madeline_Pine @abooknut Unicode has a lot of characters, including entire alphabets. There are websites dedicated to this that specialise in copy/pasta for pretty Twitting. However, the text isnβt very friendly to screen readers.
Social experiment time.
Walk up to the nearest Aussie, no matter where you are in the world and ask them:
'Am I ever gonna see your face again?'
I already know what they're going to say back. I reckon just about every Aussie reading this will as well.
