Sometimes we open Split Circuit Arena to test one fix and suddenly an hour disappears because we are still playing.
It delays the next task, but it is also one of the clearest signs that we genuinely enjoy the game we are making.

Doing well makes the arena fight back.
Build a strong score lead and more enemies can pressure you at once. After enough kills, a miniboss interrupts the regular waves.
Does that pressure feel fair?

We wanted players to understand their robotβs health without looking away from the fight.
So we built the health light directly into the machine. It keeps both players informed without adding another large bar to the screen.

Split Circuit Arena works solo or in co-op.
Solo gives you both sides of the robot. In co-op, the controls split between two people and every turn becomes a shared decision.
Solo teaches the machine. Co-op brings it alive.
#indiegame#coopgames#SteamPlaytest
The arena in Split Circuit Arena does not care whose side you are on.
Rotating maces and spring-loaded traps can launch enemies across the floor, but bad timing can send your robot flying instead.
The free playtest is live.

Armor in Split Circuit Arena is not cosmetic.
Each plate has its own health and absorbs part of a hit. Keep striking the same area and it becomes damaged, breaks away, and leaves the robot without that protection.
The free playtest is live.

Two people controlling one robot usually cannot drive straight at first.
Then something clicks. Turns become attacks, accidents become recoveries, and the same helpless machine starts feeling powerful.
The free playtest is live on Steam.

The Split Circuit Arena Steam Playtest is live and completely free.
Grab a friend and control one robot together. Test your coordination and possibly your friendship.
Solo practice is available too. Your feedback directly shapes the game.

Today our first public playtest begins.
Until now, only we and a few friends had tested Split Circuit Arena. We finally get to see what happens when new players try to control one robot together.
This is a big moment for our two-person team.

This started as a rough prototype built to answer one question: can two people controlling opposite sides of one robot be fun? The arena, weapons, enemies and multiplayer have changed. The original idea survived. Our playtest starts Friday. #indiedev#gamedev#indiegame
We had a problem: our weapons moved so fast they could pass through another robot between frames. You saw a perfect hit, but the game saw nothing. Now we trace the weaponβs full movement, so every hit counts. Our playtest starts Friday. #WishlistWednesday#indiedev#gamedev
