Gone to doctor to ask for autism assessment. The diagnostic criteria, once remote, has crept closer. But I don’t really know. What even is autism anymore? Seems as broad as NT these days.

@AmberlynWhite This. Thought for a long time my sister had BPD but now suspect it was traumatised autism. Realising that as the boundaries and definitions get more looser goosey, I could be talking about myself too.

@comradelouise Quite. Diagnostic creep means anyone with any analytical tendencies and introversion whatsoever seems to be in the frame these days! I say everyone's a bit autistic - with no autism you wouldn't be able to manage any systems like money or the alphabet. It's just where's the line.

Tried #AI on my kids' #writing - big technical improvement. Tried it on mine - dragged it down (I felt). Factor in personal taste (some might like the current AI blandness) and the inevitable improvement of AI and it's worrying. Stay bland, AI!
