The lyrics of this song are written in a specific type of traditional Thai poetry from the literary classic "Pra Rhot Meri."
Many of the words used in these lyrics are literary terms not found in everyday conversation, so I have included the meaning of each word as well.
Thai poetry follows strict tonal and rhyming rules, requiring rhymes to be placed in specific positions.
To help you notice and appreciate the beauty of this structure, I have color-coded the rhyming patterns:
🟠 :
represents internal rhymes
(words that rhyme within the same line).
(optional, but it makes the poem sound more beautiful if included.)
🔵 and 🔴 :
represent inter-line rhymes
(words that rhyme between lines within the same stanza).
🟣 and 🟢 :
represent inter-stanza rhymes
(words that link different stanzas together and rhyme within their own stanzas).
Small 🩷 dots above :
represent alliteration
(words that share the same consonant sound within the same line).
This explanation might not cover absolutely everything, but I have tried my best to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible.

And for those who are interested, here is the background information regarding the literature "Pra Rot Meri."
"This is the story of Pra Rhot Sen (Pra Rhot), the son of one of the famous Twelve Sisters. He was born to a mother who had her eyes gouged out and was imprisoned in a cave by the ogress Santhamatla, who had disguised herself as a human.
Possessing great wisdom and wit, Pra Rhot learned the truth and volunteered to travel to the land of the giants to retrieve his mother's and aunts' "eyes."
In the giant's realm, Pra Rhot met Meri, the adopted daughter of the ogress. They fell deeply in love and lived happily as husband and wife.
However, Pra Rhot secretly got Meri drunk until she fell asleep in order to steal the eyes and a magical flask, then fled back to his city.
When Meri awoke, she flew after him, crying her heart out. Pra Rhot, determined to escape, cast magical items to create a sea of fire to block her path. Devastated, Meri died of a broken heart.
Before passing away, she made a vow, "May Pra Rhot face the same karmic fate, and may he search for me in the next life."
This dying wish caused the former husband and wife to be reincarnated. Pra Rhot was reborn as Pra Suthon, while Meri was reborn as Manora.
This led to the tale of "Pra Suthon-Manora," a legendary romance about Pra Suthon leaving his kingdom to search for his beloved. Despite facing incredible hardships, Pra Suthon pursued her until they were finally reunited and lived happily ever after."
Right! In the song “Stop It” (ห้าม), the part that goes 👉🏻 lucky lucky lucky… sounds exactly like the Thai phrase “Rak-(U)ke” (I love uke). Every local who hears this song instantly gets it! Just sharing this as a bit of TMI 😆 #BBFanfest2026
