Thomas Tuchel hollering at Djed Spence again. The irony being, of course, that he decided a full-back who spent a season fighting relegation at Spurs and arrived with a broken jaw was a better bet than Real Madrid’s right-back. That pick can’t have been based on football.
I’m no expert on picking a squad capable of winning international tournaments, but I’m fairly sure selecting one of the worst players in a team that finished 17th two seasons in a row isn’t the way.

Tuchel consistently said he was going to pick players partly on what he thinks is best for atmosphere. I don’t agree with a few of the picks but the way Maguire and his family have acted because he’s not in the squad is proving why he’s not going
