@missapea I've been reading comments and I feel your frustration so deeply. I was never taught to do this, either, and I'm clinically bad at numbers. (Not dyscalculic, but I had to redo my ADHD psych eval last year. My math scores were 50+ percentile points below my other scores.)

I think an overlooked point of compatibility is the will and/or ability to learn and communicate on each other's level. It's still work but it doesn't feel "hard."
