@NC_Governor I'm so grateful to our utility workers for bracing the cold to bring us warmth! I'm without power, but I'm fortunate to have somewhere to go, I hope others can find somewhere too.
@NoetheMatt The big key to me is they need to be coming to the library, attending programs, check outs. I've only ever seen one of our board members at the branch outside of the meetings. And there need to be representatives from every town the library represents
@TheNewSchool I mean seems like there's a surefire way to have your beloved part time staff back....meet their demands and stop with your disgusting union-busting. Everyone deserves a living wage, especially PTers!

Hey library friends, did anyone else read that crazy article in Library Journal about how we're all doing super amazing in the library with starting salaries at 60k and job satisfaction at 70%?? What are your thoughts?

@NoetheMatt It would bother me only a fraction less if it weren't always books from marginalized communities. How about they keep the GOP political books behind the desk since those offend me?? (Sarcasm hand)
