After we received no response from @thenff, we contacted @FIFAcom to clarify what remedy is available to players & coaches in 🇳🇬 since NFF does not have a Tribunal for settling football disputes.

We have sought clarification from the Gen. Sec. @thenff regarding the Players' Status Committee & Arbitration Tribunal, provided for in the NFF Statutes.

We requested confirmation that these judicial bodies are indeed operational & for guidance on their procedural rules.

We are hopeful of getting some clarity on the football dispute resolution mechanism in Nigeria and we are willing to play our part in strengthening the football regulatory and governance framework in Nigeria.

Whereas we have successfully represented clients before FIFA DRC, @FIFAcom's jurisdiction is limited to cases with an international dimension.

This means that domestic players, coaches, & stakeholders would be shortchanged in the absence of a National DRC.
