CBS 3 KYW says that Idina Menzel performed last night in Philadelphia. With the parade unlikely to be rescheduled, she must have told everyone to Let It Go. I know it sounds Wicked, but it was the opposite of Frozen. It's still on near her ex's alma mater, and I will go for them.
Philadelphia's 4th July parade today was cancelled due to the extreme heat. Hope they can reschedule when it's not as hot. Mine is tomorrow, so I must ring for a lift. I'm bringing this, and I'll probably have to explain it to this person. I don't have to bring up floof, however.
The seafood restaurant I went to today had Extreme Couponing on the telly, and these people give Jordon Cox a run for his money. I can't even find coupons in the papers if I get print or laying about anymore. I just want to save on a transit card or petrol. This lot go doolally.
@CheverScarab Thanks for the recommendations. Charlies I may have heard of from one of the TV stations. One place I used to go to in Delmar no longer exists. I'm set on Teds on Friday and Mr Subb to go since I can bring it on the bus home to save time. Always support locals that support you.
While I know a few places I want to go eat at in Albany on my trip, I also know one where I won't. This one in Latham said horrible things about this poor boy who d--- in a terrible accident. It's also out of the way and now out of line. Eufuria goers, please do look this one up.
The new café has a longer queue than the Marquee or Marcus Cinema. I got here before they closed the place (stage slang). It's the holiday weekend, so I only have so many buses and options. I also made sure not to order anything with too much sugar because of my doctors orders.
I'm at the new Zaman Coffee House in Township 5 charging my phone and waiting for the next bus back to town (Notsky a few months ago at home for display purposes only). Then I have to get something I installed by mistake taken off and my data restored before getting a takeaway.
Some of the group are in Allegheny County for Anthrocon, which is one of the biggest furcons in the country. It may make Eufuria look like a poor mans version by comparison, but I'm lucky if that's the only one I'll ever go to. Many people only leave their hometown one time ever.
Fox 53 WPGH doesn't have anything on Anthrocon or even the Giant Eagle-Kroger deal. Their FB is too sports-centric. They also get second hand news from NBC 11 WPXI, while my Fox station has no news at all anymore. Remember these are all affiliates, not O&Os, even in a big area.
Looks like our WhatsOnStage Award winner was at a destination wedding in Greece. I'll be lucky to get to one here. I'll wait until he is back in the States and settled before having another go getting together with him again after six months' time. I just didn't realise at first.
It turns out that I haven't heard back from our Ian Charleson Award winner because he's been on holiday in Greece, so his FB posts were limited, and he hadn't been able to check his phone as much because of roaming charges, so maybe when he's back in the country, he'll reach out.
Just signed up for this Québecois site that has you sign up for rideshares to get to places too far for the big boys. Notsky should close the door first. I know doggies like to stick their heads out the window. I just need the lowest priced option humanly or floofally possible.
Notsky can go anywhere, but I am still in limbo as once again, plans changed and I'm worried I'll never be 25 miles of Fair Haven again because no one wants to go that far or put up with me. I'd have to hitch hike or steal a car or hundreds of dollars for a cab before I make it.
Fair Haven has been pushed back another week's time. It's too hot to go that far and I don't have the approval just yet. It'd be a divine miracle if I could get there and Rudy's in Oswego on Friday. The group are going to the local on a Sunday (I had to explain that one to them).
Although I have a private lift for Saturday, phoning a cab for Oswego on Friday due to no bus on the 4 July weekend or even to Fair Haven one way to be taken to Oswego after would just be too much. This is why thousands in the area alone will never get halfway around the region.
If only an abandoned working car or truck were lying around so I could drive myself to the beach, Oswego, Manlius, or Albany. I know I can't without a driving licence, but I'm decades overdue. I have to ring this geezer (not pensioner for context) on Saturday to get to Manlius.
Because we're in the same boat as Europe with the heat, today would be better to get to the beach. Not making the do-over with the floofs later this month an everyday thing, so I'll wait until next week's meet at the park where we were the other week. Then ask at the other place.
Having trouble booking the bus for Albany, I know I have enough for it. I get paid a day earlier because of the holiday observance. I'll have to use the third-party app, but the voucher won't work there, and it's just a couple dollars off anyway that barely covers fees or taxes.
I might have my birthday prom at the American Legion in the old Friendly's if they charge less than Singers across town. Vets and fire halls usually are less to hire. It's exhausting to ring places for quotes. If you must ask, you just can't afford it, even at these old places.
Why can't the ceremony be held on Monday? Unless the anniversary is on Tuesday, Monday is more convenient since I don't have anything in the way besides the gym. Missing work is not an option. I'm exempt for the first Thursday of the month. I'm not even full time and this is why.
