We’re always working to be an even better platform for creators and their fans, which is why we’re evolving how play counts will appear on podcast episodes.

Every creator’s journey is different, so instead of showing specific numbers, plays will now appear as milestones that update each time a new threshold is reached for an episode, starting at 50K.

We want to celebrate your BIG wins and make it easier for your audience to spot and celebrate them with you. This gives you the space to experiment, grow, and optimize for success as you find your audience at your own pace.💫

All creators have access to plays in Spotify for Creators and Megaphone now. The rest of these updates will be rolling out gradually across the Spotify app in the coming weeks.
