Let’s talk unethical banks. I closed my account at @DTBKenya over a year and a half ago. They did not close the account, went ahead to continue debiting ledger fees, have my account in overdraft (with new interest every month) and now my credit’s messed up. WTF?! @DTBduo

The real problem is the people we know or see living lavish lifestyles that cannot be accounted for by their stated occupation or inherited resources. These are the people we’re funding who aren’t contributing. This is the deficit!

In a country where we have so much social inequality we don’t talk enough about the REAL emotional and structural issues behind some of these problems.

Just saying as bad as it feels to see CEOs of institutions earning hundreds of millions of shillings in the media, they aren’t the problem. Those incomes have gone through the tax wringer and the businesses are keeping people in jobs.
