Assuming the current reports are true, suffice to say I'm waiting to hear the supposed rationale for laying off one of the best game engine teams in the world.
Even assuming you are switching all your projects to licensed engines, these same people would instantly be your most valuable programmers for working with and extending whatever engine you license.
A decent proxy for whether someone actually understands AI is whether they think it's a new field.
It's not. In fact, it's one of the oldest subfields of computer science. Older than relational databases, compilers, or operating systems.
Dear writers, we need your imagination, your narrative creativity and your lively thinking. We need these to create spaces of freedom and authenticity, within which divine grace can make the promise of consolation and peace resound. https://t.co/FEmCrdQ392
We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
@TheOtherPaul2 Looks great. If you want to chat about AI-driven knowledge management or even just about vibe coding, let me know. I do this professionally and applying it to theology and apologetics sounds interesting.
@matt_e_cochran If you read historical biographies, you notice that men often married in their late 20s, early 30s. Women tended to get married earlier, of course.
@cmuratori People cannot distinguish *obtaining something illegally* and *being inspired by* because both are sometimes called "stealing" colloquially.
