If your kid sucks, they suck. If you want to play more, get your butt in the gym. It is sad coaches have to deal with this. Putting the best players out there should be more important than their last name. Life doesn’t hand out participation trophies or favors, nor should sports.
BREAKING: Effective at the end of her contract @ahsvolleyball coach @koricoop will resign her position in a stunning announcement. There is a ton behind this and it flat stinks. Here is a statement from @koricoop. Good luck, coach thank you for sharing
I mean this is the same dude who gives his people big bonuses from his shows budget. Who started giving out insane amounts of money to college students. He talks about every sport like sportscenter used to before it became all click bait and sensationalism
If you are a US Citizen and you aren’t rooting for USA against Belgium, you are a traitor. No other way to put it. You can’t be trusted if you are rooting against your own country in the World Cup.
What Michigan should do, IMO:
• Promote Mike Boynton Jr. to interim HC for one season. It’s the best move for roster retention this late in the cycle.
• Target Josh Schertz long-term. He’s one of the top rising coaches in the sport and has a close relationship with Dusty May.
Jim Harbaugh bought a recruit a cheeseburger during a Covid dead period and got a 3-game suspension
Brendan Sorsby gambled over 100k including on games he was playing in and got a 2-game suspension
Packers draft picks
Round 2️⃣ — No. 5️⃣2️⃣ overall: CB Brandon Cisse, South Carolina.
A boundary corner with good size (5-11 3/4), speed (4.41) and length. Fills the biggest need.
Michigan in the two seasons prior to Dusty May's arrival:
2022-23: 18-16, No Tournament
2023-24: 8-24, No Tournament
Michigan under Dusty May:
2024-25: 27-10, Sweet 16
2025-26: 37-3, National Champions 🏆
What a rebuild.
Anybody know why Kenny “The Jet” Smith hates Michigan?
It’s gotta be a reason, especially to switch his pick from Michigan winning it all v MSU to down talking them all night
I’ve seen this narrative floating around (specifically with one fan base) that it’s somehow “unethical” how Dusty May built a team with transfers. Here’s how many transfers each Sweet 16 team picked up last offseason:
Iowa- 8
St John's- 7
Nebraska- 6
Texas- 5
Iowa State- 4
Alabama- 4
Michigan- 4
MSU- 3
Tennessee- 3
UConn- 2
Illinois- 2
Arkansas- 2
Purdue- 2
Houston- 1
Arizona- 1
Duke- 0
Dusty isn’t doing anything differently. He’s just doing it better. Y’all are mad because he’s evaluating, landing, and developing top talent better than you.
