"i think the actors have done such a brilliant job this season, like kit and joe particularly, some real heavy scenes and the themes, as i've said, are way more mature. so it feels like everyone came with their a game […] i think one of the things that kit and joe have to do a lot of is these, are these big dialogue-heavy, sort of, conversation scenes where the boys are kind of working through their relationship and kind of like, trying to articulate these things that are quite heavy […] and i think they just have such chemistry as actors, and they have such trust between them that usually they do those scenes and like the first take, you're like, ‘woah, okay, we got it,’ kind of thing. so, yeah, they do that brilliant, that sense of support that you're talking about comes from their brilliance as actors…"
