Why? Do I look like a fan of an artist whose album ARIRANG just made K-pop history by going No.1 on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, becoming the first group album to do so since Babel by Mumford & Sons in 2012, remaining the only Korean act ever to achieve that milestone, earning 124,000 units this week including 71,000 pure sales, posting 532,000 first-week pure sales - the biggest weekly sales for a group album in more than a decade - and casually treating the Billboard 200 like a long-term residence?
Yes, a fan of BTS, aka ARMY
This is a request to ALL armys
Today will bring a lot of joy, but also a lot of disappointment. Emotions will be strong. Please remember, first of all, that BTS has never announced all tour dates at first notice. LY had additional dates later. SY had dates doubled and new locations added. MOTS didn't have the dates announced for India, Australia, Latin America, most Asia, later the members personally confirmed all these dates were supposed to be revealed later.
Please remember also, that the boys can't go everywhere with unlimited time. A lot of it depends on promotors, and they also need time in between for album promos, other projects, rest, personal lifes.
It's normal to feel despair if the first announcement makes it look like, with financial or legal capabilities, you won't be able to attend these announced. Emotions will be strong. But you must mind how you voice them or your criticism, so you don't spew unintended anti behavior, don't aim the blade against BTS, don't blow up something antis would fuel from, and don't ruin this day for armys whom some waited even 7 years.
Hope for the best, but if it doesn't go the way you hoped, log out for a moment, take a deep breath, remind yourself that more dates and places might be coming.
