@HaroldAtEpic@ScyanYT Nothing against this new discovery layout, but I don't like trying to "bend" the meaning of words like you did :(
This new layout are not paid sponsorships, but they are defenitely advetisements by the nature of it.
Every sponsorship is an ad, but not all ads are sponsorships.
@digolei03@virti_gg@ODavidd_@_FortFlix Yes they can talk with brazilian representants of epic (we have them), plus if the international prize stuff is am issue, they maybe adapt to a in-region prize strategy
@K1K000ZL [2/2] using a third party resident outside brazil as registrator as a way to "bridge" the competitor in. (With prize being unclaimed)
There is no action epic can do on their side to make it work besides agreeing with making the brazil adaptations (which breaks other countries)
@K1K000ZL By brazil laws, even if they remove prizes for brazil only, that would faill under same rules that makes it disallowed here even with the prizes.
The only way to make it work is epic not allowing brazil still, but we being ghost participants (against epic rules) or [1/X]
@digolei03@HiagoBD@virti_gg@ODavidd_@_FortFlix For companies, is cheaper for them to ignore Brazil, than adapting the rules of their events to fair brazil required practices... Which is bad for the consumers/community.
Plus there is also the reward delivery and fees related to international goods that companies avoid too...
@digolei03@HiagoBD@virti_gg@ODavidd_@_FortFlix I agree with it in parts, and others I don't agree... The idea is fine, making a fair environment, avoiding scams and false stuff, equality on outcomes and similar chances for everyone.
But due to that, many international companies do the math and just check it is not worth it :(
@LuminanceXSR Just normal system update, it became worse and worse on each new version...
Back on One UI 7 it was perfect, the control panel cards had the same size as notifications
Now, the icons still are, but they added weird paddings that makes the cards almost double the expected size
@LuminanceXSR OneUI 8 was a mid term between good and bad, but still not as good as the One UI 7 (It had good paddings, sizings and spacings back them).
I don't have screenshots from OneUI 7 to show how good it was
The image is OneUI 8 and the videos show OneUI 8.5 then OneUI 9, side by side
@LuminanceXSR It is getting more and more mess over time...
With OneUI 9 they made the paddings absurdly big and inconsistent.
Expanded icons have less spacing than the retracted view, it takes more than the entire screen while on One UI 7 it was perfect, being 1/3 of the screen back them
@SmokeyStack_@ibxtoycat I think what he means is, the digital license for the product may be kept on the servers, even with the original game not downloadable anymore. This is totally possible, to allow future people to do the license migration later...
This 25-year-old Verser still writes code the old fashion way...
Introducing... VerseBoy! 🎮
A highly accurate Game Boy emulator written in UE6's future programming language, Verse. It runs both standalone (using Python as the display) and right inside Fortnite using #UEFN! 🧵
Note: The Fortnite Editor (UEFN) timer is still frozen.
Years ago, epic purposedly stopped tracking the total time state for UEFN usages (Maybe to avoid people using it to precify work time or idk)
After years, Epic FINALLY fixed the total playtime count being clamped to max 10k hours displayed on the launcher.
The new launcher shows the accurate value now. Mine is almost 50k hours, and yours?
#EpicGamesLauncher#Fortnite
Epic still does not show the accurate time spent in games, capping the display at 10k hours on launcher.
Currently I have ~47k hours of Fortnite Playtime (~5.4 years)
Also, Epic stopped tracking UEFN (Fortnite_Studio) years ago, so that one is not accurate anymore.
