This was really fun if you're a music gear nerd. I thought it was going to be easy, it was not ... I'd like to see the answers! Thanks @attackmag@attackmag1
(I just scored 28 out of 36 on the RolandVSAttack quiz https://t.co/o62AdnZOTv #RolandVSAttack@Roland_US@RolandUK )
Here's a Vice video on the Spritebox Arcade cabinet that was part of a show at @electricperfume a few years ago. Myself and @shanianickel show up talking about our game Blobber Basher that ran on the cabinet.

Fixing up a voce v5. One of the AC traces was split on the way to the switch. So I added a jumper and cut away to old trace(so it didn’t arc). Hard to get in there because of the 2 PCB design.
@ToyotaCanada According to the state of California if @Toyota did to us what @ToyotaCanada is doing, they would get sued. 🤔 Doesn’t help us figure this out.
Just had an extremely frustrating call with @ToyotaCanada We are moving to the US and need to know if our car meets California emissions before deciding to buy out the Lease. They wont tell us until we buy out the lease! And if it doesn’t, what then? “Sorry! Thanks for the $$$”
Hooray! It’s done! (Still a few little things). Check out the before/after. The synth is from the 70s so I went for that aesthetic. Purists will not be happy with the green and brown but I love it! #crumar#analogsynth#restoration#synthesizer
So now that it’s all working, time to do something synth purists will hate. Let’s skin it and wrap it in something more interesting! I’ve decided to change the plywood wrapped cheeks to solid black limba wood. What do you think?
Big updates on the crumar orchestrator restoration. Once the recapping and slider/button replacement were finished I turned it on! The 2 piano sounds were fine but the brass and strings sounded like every note was played at once when a single note was played. Had to go back in.
Hooray! That fixed it. It’s now working and sounding amazing! I then went and re aligned the keys ... and accidentally cracked the piece of plastic that triggers the circuit on one of the keys. Not too big a deal, little plastic welding and back in business. Check out the before
Thankfully I had the schematic and tracked it down to a blown diode ... the same one on every single individual key PCB (well 70% of the keys) so about 45 diodes changed. I wonder what happened ... power surge maybe?
