due to what he lived through, seeing him find his solace w/ vices and his writing early on is funny albeit sad. However, felt as I was living through his era with how he described things and you could feel his annoyance about things even when writing about them years later 10/10.

Finished, wow can he write a book so tightly wound and addictive honestly. Probably my favorite read this year, it felt like I was peering into someone's life from an intimate perspective, getting into his head and his biases and understanding why he did what he did or thought-
