@Aaronbuilds_@LimestoneHQ Yeah, web copy shouldn't get pasted from AI straight to prod, if that's what happened -- sounds like that's what happened at least in the case of the cover letter. Both parties maybe have an opportunity to improve on how they use AI to generate copy. Considering all sides.
@Aaronbuilds_@LimestoneHQ Valid point, but I don't think instilling buyer confidence is strongly related to the vetting / hiring process. One has to do with potential revenue; the other, with expense.
@Aaronbuilds_@LimestoneHQ Yeah, I get it, but website copy sits there and does nothing, whereas they will have to pay lots of money to a candidate. The quality checks are going to be a lot higher, yes?
@Aaronbuilds_@LimestoneHQ They gave the candidate an open door to put better work forward; not many companies do that. No one is arguing against the use of AI -- not checking output is the larger issue. The output had issues with substance and correctness, and should have been remediated by the operator.
@AzLoyall@DramaAlert Abortion is murder. Human beings have the natural instinct to love, protect, and nurture their children, whatever the costs. That's just human instinct, though. A lot of people don't rise to the level of human being.
