Job 1: Although Job was a good man, satan couldn't have cared less about seeing Job suffer. Satan's hope was suffering might lead Job to sin. Wherever you are at--don't give in. Keep worshipping.
Jesus chooses, in His temptation in the desert, to use our weapon to defeat satan. Instead of using His authority and insisting that he flee (as He did on other occasions), He used scripture. What an example for us to live by. It can be done and you can do it.
I'm learning to treat #AI like a 2 year old. Cute but abnormal assumptions are a given. At times the story goes way off course. Always wants to help and learn but sometimes it's easier to do it myself. Unexpectedly it does something amazing that deserves applause.
I got a taste of it! Recently listened to our 2 year grandchild explain life. With a huge grin, all I wanted was for her to keep talking to me about it. Does God feel this sense of excitement when we talk to Him? I imagine so. #prayer
Thanks @FCMS_Cubs and FCMS Student Council for all the cards and helping celebrate National IT Professionals Day today. These cards were the highlight of the day! @myfcs@fcssuper2011
Something you may not know. I didn't until today. St. Nick (Santa Clause) was a Christian. Having such strong faith, he was also known as Nicholas the Wonderworker. Check out Wikipedia's snippet for more details: https://t.co/RZsjEgSx3S
Those who are in Christ are more near of kin than they know of, and their intense unity in deep essential truth is a greater force than most of them imagine: only give it scope and it will work wonders. (Spurgeon)
What we look at or pay attention to affects us. Ask Lot's wife (Genesis 19), David with Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11), or Moses with a bronze snake (Numbers 21). Good Lord, protect us all!
