Als kind hoorde ik nooit dat ik 'oké' was. Dat queer zijn oké is. Niet thuis. Niet op school. Het had kinderen zoals ik jaren mentale pijn bespaard mocht dit op school bespreekbaar geweest zijn. Mocht het een safe space geweest zijn. Ja er is beterschap, maar de weg is nog lang.
