@billmaher Agreed, Bill. The worst moment was when Gillibrand actually turned to the candidate at her side and said, "It's my turn," after she had been interrupting others all night long.
@StephenKing And a gift to us too, Mr. King. From one Mainer to another - - hello from Sanford - - thank you for continuing to share your talents with us these last 20 years.
@soledadobrien I am not saying this as a Trump or Barr supporter, for I am most emphatically not either. But as a journalist, shouldn't you refrain from tweets like these and maintain a certain objectivity regarding the news you cover on air? Is your glee or amusement here appropriate?
@MonicaLewinsky Agreed! I read it for the first time last summer. I was so impacted by and impressed with it that I displayed it on top of my bookshelf as a tribute as a reminder of its messages, rather than just put it back among my other books.
@joe_hill US is incredible - - frightening, suspenseful, funny, twisty, and smart. My wife jumped a few times, and I did what I always do when a movie scares me: I laughed, reveling in the craftsmanship and in the exhilarating effect the story is having on me.
@goodreads The Tommyknockers, by Stephen King. I read it 30 years ago this month and figured I'd commemorate that occasion. It's far from King's best, of course, but I've never understood the bad rap it gets. I'm enjoying it.
@joe_hill Of course - - like the contestants in Survivor, Trump himself is a product of reality TV. Just as the movies gave us Reagan, so too has reality television given us Trump. In the future, we'll probably elect a president who today is a YouTube sensation.
@robreiner Mr. Reiner . . . all your tweets are about Trump. I don't like the guy either, at all, but as a follower of you here on Twitter and as someone who regards a lot of your films as truly great, I'm curious about your thoughts on other matters in this world, as well . . .
