The adventures of Lenny and Brenda

Lenny is busy making porridge for next week. He has made a big pot, medium pot and small pot. I wonder if you can guess what story we might be doing?

Lenny and Brenda have been really impressed with the children this week, they have all been absolute superstars at coming in, washing their hands (lots) and doing activities. Well done to them all.

Lenny has been to choose a new water bottle today. He is very excited about school restarting.

Lenny and Brenda have been following our playground trail outside.

Lenny and Brenda are enjoying their free school milk.

Brenda has been playing with our new music centre.

Lenny and Brenda enjoyed playing in our Doctors Surgery.

Brenda enjoyed playing with the dinosaurs in our small world area. Her favourite dinosaur is a pterodactyl. Lots of you said you liked dinosaurs when you came to visit so Brenda is looking forward to playing with them with you.

Lenny and Brenda enjoyed using our gymnastic apparatus today. Lenny was a bit scared of going high but with Brenda‘s encouragement and support he managed it and was very proud of himself.

Lenny enjoyed playing in our outdoor music area, he invented a game of “guess the nursery rhyme”. His favourite nursery rhyme is 3 Blind Mice.

Lenny and Brenda received a Headteacher‘s award today for being kind to each other and always trying hard.

Today, Lenny and Brenda enjoyed a yummy school lunch. They both chose pasta and Lenny had a biscuit for his pudding and Brenda had a yoghurt. They carefully carried their trays to the tables.

Lenny and Brenda went in our Computer suite today, they played on lots of games. Lenny’s favourite is Buried Treasure on Phonicsplay, and Brenda loves Teddy numbers on Topmarks.

Lenny and Brenda had a very important job to do today - taking the register to the office. All children get the chance to do this, and it quickly becomes a favourite part of school life!

This week, Brenda has been busy digging in our outdoor area. She has planted some lavender which smells beautiful.

Lenny is very good at washing his hands and using hand gel before he plays with any toys in the classroom.

Today Lenny and Brenda enjoyed playing in our mud kitchen. They made mud pies and a Gruffalo crumble.

Today Lenny and Brenda have been enjoying reading outside. I wonder how many of you have read these books?
