How the hell are you supposed to talk about the two illegal Israeli run bio labs in the US that both had COVID samples without sounding like a psychotic conspiracy brained nazi
For 37 years, privatised water companies have fleeced customers and poisoned our supply whilst extracting £88bn+ in dividends.
Privatisation is a scam. It is absurd that successive governments have allowed this farce to continue.
Put water into democratic public ownership, now.
This country is starting to feel like a corrupt third world country, because what is the point of a supposedly independent ECONOMIC regulator like Ofgem if all is does is increase without any real push back.
They suggest it’s due to Middle Eastern conflict, but why is our energy far higher than others ??
Same can be said for Ofwat which is supposed to regulate the water industry, yet bill increases while performance on pollution and leaks remains poor.
Are they being paid under the table - what is going on ???
Van Lathan, co-host of Higher Learning podcast, reacts to transphobic remarks by WNBA athlete Sophie Cunningham
"If you cannot gift trans people with visibility, humanity, and acceptance, could you at least gift them with silence? Could you at least shut the fu## up about it? Could you at least leave them the fu## alone?"
You guys are doing your victory lap on this shit, fucking up the country. You mean to tell me there are wars happening in the Middle East, food prices are crazy, like the environment is in the shitter, we can't eat lettuce without crap in our pants, all of this stuff, and you still picking on these people after all of this time?”
I wish it was more common knowledge that almost all regulations exist because companies weren’t doing these things on their own and bad things were happening because of it.
I'm confused. It's YOUR house. Are you under the impression that other homeowners make their money back from repairs?? Spending money on repairs is a part of owning a house. That's your responsibility as the owner not the renters.
Let's say the PS6 is a digital only console (pretty much guaranteed now) and 20yrs after it's release you wanna get a game for the PS6 but they've shut down the store just like they did for the PS3/Vita. What are you going to do?
You can't go to a gamestop, a pawn shop, a flea market, ebay or whatever. This is planned obsolescence in its' final form. PlayStation now has 100% control over how you buy and play a game.
Your boy wanna sell you a game for cheap? Can't do that, gotta buy full price on PSN. Wanna give your boy a game to check out? too bad, he's gotta buy it for $70 on PSN.
This is terrible for videogame preservation and consumer rights
Sally died because the supported living home she lived in forgot to give her her medication for 300 days. An inquest found she died from neglect but the CQC failed to bring forward a prosecution
The problem isn't just the regulator. Its the fact that we've privatised social care
Your Cash ISA tax free amount is going down from 20k to 12k.
Unless of course, you're over 65.
Then it stays at 20k.
Also over 65s can keep transferring non-cash ISAs into cash ISAs. You can't.
Why is everything in British politics like this?
won't be taking any prime minister seriously until they lay out a plan to make england better for people born post-1990. it's tiresome being expected to foot the bill for literally everyone else and getting increasingly little back for it
The contrast between the coverage of the Edinburgh attack and the Golders Green stabbings is extraordinary. It’s impossible to see any explanation other than very crude, simple racism.
Kyle Kulinski: “Tax every penny in net worth somebody has over $999M at 100%. It’s a no billionaires tax, no trillionaires tax. We’ll send you a fucking plaque in the mail that says I won at capitalism. We already have Gilded Age level income and wealth inequality. I’m surprised people aren’t breaking out the motherfucking guillotines already”
