Today is February 17 and Nigerian House Officers have not been paid since December.

Young doctors.
Fresh out of medical school.
Working crazy shifts.

And they have not been paid.

No salary in January.
No salary in February.

We cannot keep romanticizing sacrifice while starving the sacrificial lambs.

This is not a favor.
It is earned salary.
