Time for another look in the🔮

For a long time now, I've been talking about workflows where quick, gestural, fun 3d sculpting combined with generative ai, is potentially a very powerful combination.

Everything these days seems to be converging on that point exactly. One of my linkedin contacts called it a move from Technocratic to "Creatocratic" systems and I agree.

One of the key things missing until now was a way to "bake" the generated pixels back into 3d. With todays release of the 3d converter from StabilityAI and tripoai that let's you convert an image to a 3d model in just a few seconds, we're moving closer to coming full circle in the 3d sculpting + gen ai workflow. Within long, we'll be able to do this in realtime 3d sculpting.. imagine seeing the model change as you're sculpting on it depending how much or how little influence you give the ai.

I'll describe the workflow a bit more below, but the main tools used were Unbound IO, Krea AI, the new converter and Adobe Substance 3d modeler🧵
