Kevin Danso is Tottenham’s best outright ‘defender’ and shouldn’t be allowed to leave. Another piece of horrendous squad management if the club just caves in.
Chelsea sold Maatsen for 40m to get clean profit for PSR, while they bought Kellyman, an unknown youngster for 20m to also give clean profit for PSR to Villa.
Now after 0 games played, he is sold for 5m to a sister club.
Normally in business, when you sell assets at boosted prices to get accounting and/or financial benefits it is considered fraud and has severe legal implications. Chelsea is now actively doing this as a strategy to defraud the financial rules of the Premier League and UEFA.
That is the most significant and stirring England win of most of our lifetimes. Unbelievable character to defend like that with 10 men for so long. I genuinely didn't think they had it in them.
So there is one rule for Messi and another for everyone else …
Good news for #USMNT is they’re through to the last 16. Bad news is they’ll be without their star striker Folarin Balogun for #Belgium
Similarities to Messi challenge on Algeria’s Mandi in terms of how Balogun’s
studs raked down right achilles of Muharemovic. But his eyes were fixed firmly on ball & that action was the unintended consequence of a collision between two bodies. Red card so harsh. Zero consistency of officiating/VAR application.
No recourse to appeal.
Also, I can’t understand the insistence on slowing down these challenges on review - you end up comparing two different incidents.

🚨 Roberto De Zerbi: “We have no time to go on holiday. We have to learn from our mistakes we have done this season”.
“I don’t wanna hear: Now we are happy because we stay up and we forget the past… No, no. Stupid people forget the past!”.
So @allyrudd_times it’s a really interesting take to blame the fans of a £550m revenue business for years of underachievement, while ignoring the actual reasons clubs succeed or fail.
Successful clubs invest in elite players. They replace departing quality. They build football structures that support performance, from coaching to recruitment to sports science and medical. They hire top managers aligned to winning. They put football first.
Most importantly, they understand long-term financial growth comes FROM football success, not from endlessly sweating the asset while prioritising infrastructure projects and commercial growth over the quality on the pitch.
That’s the difference between Tottenham and clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City, who invested heavily and built winning cultures. Or even Brighton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa, who put football decisions first and massively outperformed their natural position.
Fans don’t control recruitment, squad planning, wage structure, medical departments, executive priorities or ownership ambition.
Blaming supporters while ignoring the institutional choices made over years is either unbelievably lazy journalism or a wilful misunderstanding of modern football, or you are simply on the take.
So, just a few weeks after the last thread on some horrific refereeing decisions in our game with Sunderland, we’re BACK again with another one. 📲
This time, focusing on the awful decisions that have gone against #thfc this season.
We’ll begin with Monday night…

What happened today is unforgivable.
Two hands on the back of a defender, the referee of the NLD went on SKY explaining why that is always a foul and not even a week later we see the exact opposite.
It looks like you're taking the piss @FA_PGMOL.
