We just built & opened the 3rd (I think) privately-owned supercharger in the country!
…right across the street from The Pie Safe - our family’s artisan bakery & creamery in the 110-yr-old ford garage we restored in the tiny town of Deary, Idaho (population 510).
Opens up a whole new lane of traffic (literally) in our effort to revitalize the town, which is 2 hrs from an interstate or major city/airport.
And speaking of the town, we’ve now completely restored & opened businesses in the following buildings:
- craft butcher shop (old merc bldg)
- quilt/handcrafts shop (old appliance store)
- artisan bakery & pizza (old ford garage)
- award-winning creamery (also old ford garage)
- boutique hotel (old train depot & caboose)
- unique stay Car 306 (old rail car in the mountains nearby)
- historic farmhouse stay & barn wedding venue (crumbling farm we bought in the country nearby)
- and more coming…
It takes a village (to restore a village). huge thank you to all our friends & community who’ve partnered & been great neighbors in this story. And thank you @Tesla for this opportunity!
Time to plan a visit (the pastries are out of this world). We’d love to see you in 2026!
@yunta_tsai Hey Yun-Ta, got 14.3.3 today. Overall really good, but now when I engage from within my very narrow garage, it immediately turns the wheel to the right as it backs out instead of just backing out straight. I've been disengaging to avoid getting too close to the side wall.
@DavidMoss, @DevinOlsenn, and @Scotsrule08 are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the world’s first Canada coast to coast fully autonomous drive!
We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom
(3,760miles/6,051km)
This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
I have been traveling nearly nonstop for over 2 months. Tonight was my last flight for the next 7 weeks. I’m beyond exhausted and miss my family. My flight landed just before midnight and I have a 38 mile drive home.
Thank you @Tesla_AI for FSD. Because of your amazing technology, I know I will make it home to my family safe. It’s got me covered on all angles. I don’t have to worry about an attention lapse that could cost me my life.
Stepping off the safest form of travel and into my Tesla is a reminder that soon, driving won’t be the dangerous endeavor it is today. And owning a car with FSD and using it correctly puts me ahead of the game. Seeing my family at the end of a long trip is worth it.
@TeslaTrip@larsmoravy Tesla has been very quiet after the multiple April letdowns. For cybercab I'm expecting to see a bunch of them showing up very soon around the country with data collection fleet drivers. But I agree the lack of info from Tesla recently has been really disappointing
