Our PreK-3 students were prepared for Palm Sunday yesterday! They made these beautiful masks last week after learning about how Jesus entered Jerusalem peacefully riding a donkey.
God poured out His graces on the SPV moms who were able to attend the Moms Retreat on Enders Island this weekend.
Great thanks to Sister Maria Thuan for planning such a beautiful retreat!
The PreK-3 students honored Saint Joseph yesterday by making these hats which taught them a beautiful prayer to Saint Joseph and reminded them that they can be God's helper, too.
🙏❤️ Saint Joseph, pray for us! ❤️🙏
Mrs. Underwood and Ms. Ari's Kindergarten Class combined learning about Saint Patrick with learning about Palm Sunday today. Look at their leprechaun hats and palm fronds!
🙏☘️Saint Patrick, pray for us! ☘️🙏
Last night's Science Fair was a great success! The 6th and 7th grade students made excellent displays to show their scientific findings, and our visitors learned so much!
Today's poetry recitation, preceded by a speech by one of our students on Habit 6: Synergize, went wonderfully!
Each class memorized a poem and recited it as a group with confident voices and vocal inflection.
Firedogs enjoy poetry! 📜
Some very happy second graders after their first Reconciliation yesterday evening! Thank you to Sister Amata Christi for preparing them so well for the sacrament. 🙏
The Christ the King Middle School Math Business will be hosting a Lenten Bake Sale this Friday after school on the blacktop. Some of their biggest sellers will be offered, as well as a few new items: bread, sweets, and apple cider.
Reading Week is a time for creativity, too! One of our first-grade students read to Sister Mary Amata a book she wrote and illustrated about a bunny who takes a trip to Texas and makes friends with a bear. Firedogs are readers AND writers! 📚📝
