Meet Shamima Begum, a talking point in the Britain.

Begum left London in 2015 to become IS bride in Syria. She was all 15 that time. A schoolgirl.

In Syria, she married an IS trrst. Gave birth to 3. All died as infants.

On (obvious) security grounds, Brit revoked her citizenship in 2019.

Today she wants to come back and fighting for citizenship.

Her lawyer argues she was a child then and its 'state failures' while she fell victim of grooming & trafficking.

The UK govt cited it's about the security risk that the individual posed, irrespective of how she might have come to a risk.

[In one of interview in Feb'19 with Times, she admitted she don't regret joining IS, she was unfazed witnessing a beheading execution of a non-MusIim but had no hope for Caliphate due to underlying corruption and so she wants to come back UK for her (third) baby (when she was 9mnth preg) after first 2 died.]

Begum fled to Syria via Turkey in 2015 with two more friends. One died in a b0mbing. Another is untraced.

She is now 24, stuck at the al-Roj camp since 2019, with thousands of other foreign women & children.

An Islamic cleric (Maulana), 25-yr-old madrasa teacher arrested for unnatural r*pe with atleast 10 minor students, in Junagadh, Gujarat

He was the Urdu teacher at the Madrasa, students used to attend the Madrasa for religious teachings and he r*ped the innocents inside Madrasa

The case came to light when an underage child, distressed by the maulana's heinous act, informed his parents, leading to a police complaint. Following this, ten other affected children also shared the truth with the police during the investigation.

For the past year, the maulana had been engaging in these heinous act with underage children. He lured them into a room within the madrasa premises under the pretext of his foot massages, subjecting them to these disturbing acts.

In addition to the POCSO Act, charges have been filed against the accused under sections 377, 323, and 506 (2) at the Mangrol police station in Junagadh, Gujarat

A 55-year-old trustee of the madrasa has also been arrested for ignoring the complaint against the cleric

This is a concerning issue, as every month, 10-15 such shameful cases are emerging from different Madrasas in the country, where clerics are s*xu*lly preying on underage children. The reported cases of 10-15 are those on record with the police station, but the actual number could be higher, as many people do not file complaints out of fear and the stigma associated with such incidents.
