Also, if we’re going after student loan forgiveness why not also go after companies and congress people who had loans forgive during the pandemic as well? Oh, because you don’t actually care about loans. If you’re so for paying off what we owe, why not raise the debt ceiling?
Anyone saying “Don’t borrow what you can’t pay” the issue isn’t paying off what we borrowed. The issue is the predatory interest rate. Many people have paid off what they borrowed and then some, but due to horrid interest rates they haven’t touched the principle.
If you have student loan debt, you should know this:
Every single House Republican just voted to overturn President Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan AND retroactively charge you interest on your paused payments.
I get anxious even mentioning Adderall in conversation because how poorly people react to it and immediately assume I’m addicted. You wouldn’t ask someone “are you sure you need those prescription glasses to see” and then leer at them if they said yes. Both help me function.
As someone with very bad ADHD symptoms it’s hard to sympathise with the moral panic around stimulants.
I know they’re super addictive to those without ADHD, but to me they’re the equivalent of caffeine Tik Tacs that only sometimes work on the days my hormones are balanced
@OriTomorrow To the annoyance of my bf 😂 He gets excited thinking that I’ll be surprised by something only for me to ask him if I’m correct in how it ends and he has to begrudgingly admit I’m right
@OriTomorrow Me with movie analysis 😭 I want to talk for hours about movies after I just watched them. From when I predicted correctly to crowd reactions, etc.
@emma__jenner1 I really don’t think it has much to do with people not sticking through the hard times. Women just aren’t reliant on men for literally everything- financial security, health care, food, shelter, etc. This means there isn’t an uneven power dynamic in the relationship so they 1/2
This. I hate people randomly touching/hugging me. Not because I don’t love my friends/family but because it physically hurts. It feels like a hand is made up of a thousand needles. Don’t be upset when I hold my boundary of not wanting to be touched.
i think it’s important that we start to detach from the idea that an Autistic person having sensory issues is about them fearing what is distressing them versus it bringing them physical pain
you’re not afraid of the microwave beeping, it just physically hurts to hear it go off
@Kuleau Biological sex is what reproductive organs you have when you are born. Gender is a social construct of how a specific sex “should” act - which frequently changes based on societal norms - and is fluid.
Was diagnosed with POTS on Friday and started with medication today. I’m just happy that I got a solid answer, and to the doctor who told me my dizziness and shortness of breath was anxiety - screw you.
