I fell in love with mountains at age of 10. Later, I saw someone with a radio on a peak. In 1997 I passed my ham exam. I found SOTA in 2014 - seems a good blend
@wG0AT I used to have such situations. It took longer but eventually someone copied me at regular qrp/sota frequencies and would spot me either. I'm curious to hear how did this end in your case. :)
@ec7zt@ea3cv Manuel has been my top chaser for years both SSB and CW. Even now at weak signals in those years I can hear him chasing in QSB, QRM, Q-whatever. :-) True Ham!
This was my shelter improvised on SP/BZ-036 Kiczory. Thanks all who tried to have QSO with me. I know my technical issues were an obstacle. Double thanks for your patience.
Polica SP/BZ-002. Huge technical problems - my Pico Paddle cable fails to connect properly, so does power cable. I must have sounded much as a LID holding power cable in left hand, while logging on the phone and keying breaking sounds with the right...
Found the culprit. Something wrong with the feeder. Improvisation is best friend for SOTA - made it with a 20cm patch. Not best solution, but applied in lack of others.
Thank you, all the Chasers.
