I am resisting the desire to post everything I want everyone to know all of the time. This Bari Weiss article from The Free Press says a lot of what needs to be said. Please read and beware people celebrating right now.

Join us on the hour as we sit down with @hannahsbee to discuss her investigation into the Tavistock gender clinic. She tells us why she lost sleep over what she discovered there.
This is particularly applicable in education. It’s not about flexing positional muscle, but should be about listening & solving problems. The best organizations are filled with a myriad of motivated leaders, not packed with complying subordinates. https://t.co/5LbinkFiz7

@lynhornets sweeps #ODAC indoor track & field titles. 9 men's records fall including a pair of overall standards. LYN's Stephanie Burnett and @SUHornets Tucker Kindig take home ODAC/@VaFarmBureau Scholar-Athlete Awards. Rest of awards later this week #d3tf https://t.co/yqQNaX2kFg
Alarming and irresponsible that @CNN ran an ad tonight from an organization with a direct call to take up arms. At a time when we need to boost confidence in our democracy, @CNN abandoned journalistic standards in favor of ad dollars.
@GovMurphy @PhilMurphyNJ @NJEA@NJEA_CC@mceanj@MCEA_NJ It seems only some districts will be the “canaries in the mine”. Unacceptable! All districts must be virtual in the fall.
@PhilMurphyNJ @GovMurphy@NJEA@NewJerseyDOE I sincerely hope I am not the educator that Governor Murphy memorializes as one of the “covid dead” in his press briefing come September/October. Shame on you Murphy for not mandating ALL districts to go virtual in the fall.
“We can’t invite our students into these buildings. We can’t have staff into buildings that we are not confident that the health and safety standards are in place.” - NJEA President @MarieBlistan

Once schools are reopened next month, a likely common activity will be reacting to staff & students who are in school and discovered to be COVID+. Will probably create a yo-yo type situation with schools being repeatedly closed, cleaned and reopened. https://t.co/TG1yZAtGfE
Stopped by to speak with Monmouth Co. Superintendent. Note on door read “office closed due to Covid 19”. We left our own note. It’s not safe to open school buildings in September #Protectourfamilies#Onlywhenitssafe @NewJerseyDOE @GovMurphy @NJEA
“There are major challenges to that, and it is not clear at this point that districts will be able to rise to those challenges” - Steve Baker, NJEA communications director.
