Like so many others, I’ve been watching what’s happening in the United States. I share the sentiment of friends in the US - what is happening is wrong.
Celebrating the Year 6s final few days of school today 😢 Thank you to M.N’s mum from @bandicootsCPS for making this amazing cupcake display for us to enjoy!
Thanks @bandicootsCPS for helping make our products for Project-Based Learning! We used fresh ingredients from @CamdenvilleFarm to make pesto and spanakopita! We can’t wait to cook it and share it with K-2 tomorrow!
Can’t believe we are expecting to go there? What haven’t we learned from the mistakes of others? DofE head hosted a talk by Valerie Hanlon but innovation for the future is hard to do if we are driven by a big stick.
Camdenville teachers beginning the long and involved process of sorting classes for 2021. We want to make sure all students feel valued and cared for so making sure classes are cohesive and focused on learning is our goal.
Thanks to all our wonderful experts who provided their expertise and time today for Stage 2’s culminating event. The students did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to see these ideas in action.
Love receiving these photos of what sounded like a wonderful culminating event. Well done Cockatoos and Stage 2 for sharing your great ideas for a bush tucker garden and yarning circle with some experts from our community. A great end to the year 👏🏼
Stage 3 had their PBL culminating event today! ‘How can we create engaging digital stories that share the diverse experiences and perspectives of people in our community?’ These stories are now available to view at: https://t.co/WKGTyr5hop
Stage 3 have developed their empathetic understanding of the experiences of ppl in our community & hope to create a feeling of connectedness among their audience. Check out their digital stories https://t.co/RGEGNgIwyE #NSWeducation#projectbasedlearning#lovewhereyoulearn
What a day! We took part in the book swap with our buddies to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, participated in a virtual incursion about Aboriginal artefacts, and created some NAIDOC Week inspired artworks! @QuokkasCPS2020 @IndigenousLF
Today for our N2K research we explored possible locations in the school for a yarning circle and bush tucker garden. We created a success criteria to help us and used pic collage to annotate our photos. I wonder what space will work best?
The Premier’s Debating Challenge knock-out rounds have begun! Our Stage 3 Camdenville Limes debating team are competing against teams from all over NSW to decide the state champions. Good luck Limes! @bandicootsCPS@kookaburrasCPS#premiersdebatingchallenge
Part one of our Hook Event was spent with Darren and Todd learning about the traditional uses of plants. Some of the plants we saw can be used as food, medicine or tools. This is all going to help us with our PBL this term, I wonder what we could be doing? @GoannasCPS
Part Two of our day is being spent in the succulent garden. We are exploring the different succulents and doing some sketching. A very relaxing activity to end our day 🌵 @GoannasCPS
