BREAKING: In an extraordinary and illegal move, Trump says he’s transferring $10 billion from the U.S. government to his “Board of Peace,” which he chairs and can use the funds as he wishes.
Where is Congress???
A group of dancers performed outside the Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Memorial on Presidents' Day in protest of the killings of Renée Good and Alex Pretti by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. Broadway and former Kennedy Center dancers were a part of the performance, according to Playbill.
The team of dancers shared on social media that they were able to complete the full performance near the Lincoln Memorial, but were shut down by authorities outside the Kennedy Center midway through the dance.
Take a moment to look at the inhumanity captured in this extraordinary photo running on the front page of tonight's Minneapolis @StarTribune. It shows federal immigration agents immobilizing a protester on the ground and spraying chemical irritant directly into his face. The scene reminds me of the brutality used against civil rights protesters in the 1960s. We look back at those old photos and wonder how the authorities could have behaved so savagely; many years from now, young Americans will look at these photos from 2026 and wonder how anyone could have justified shooting a woman in the head as she tried to drive away, arresting 5-year-old schoolchildren on the street, or holding a man down and spaying chemicals into his face. Thanks to the Star Tribune reporters and photographers for documenting this work; they create accountability, they make democracy work, and they make all of us in journalism proud.
"On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron."—HL Mencken, 1920
So for those of you keeping track:
• Trump says he will end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. Putin tells him to pound sand. War is now worse than ever.
• Trump says he’ll solve the Gaza war. That war is now worse than ever.
• Trump tells Bibi not to strike Iran to give him space to negotiate. Bibi strikes Iran two days before talks.
Does it seem like world leaders respect Trump?
Delirium has a visibility problem, not just a diagnostic one.
For reasons that remain unclear to me we collectively walk past by the suffering caused by #delirium without truly seeing it.
I’m impressed. Rick Steves is a guy with middle American appeal. He’s also a good guy who paid his employees throughout the pandemic. Apparently he feels strong enough to speak to his people — a wide cross section of Americans — despite the risk of alienating half his customers.
Part of a massive, 1500 sq ft mural we did for the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute several years ago. The largest installation we have ever done.

Dividing up Ukraine. Dividing up Ukrainians. Dividing up children. That's what "doing pretty well with Russia" means. No concessions from Putin, occupation for Ukraine, more war to come for Europe. Trump surrendered to Russia on day one, the rest is paperwork to him.
"Even" the New York Post gets that it's nuts to let the government take anyone off the streets and deport them to a foreign prison, with no right to call their family or a lawyer, based on a mere accusation.
BTW, no one in America carries proof of citizenship everywhere they go.
Happy birthday to Mabel. Despite her occasional worries about the world, she would follow you to the ends of it. Which she proved again a couple of days ago.
