A new blog has dropped on the independent evaluation of the @EITIorg conducted by Square Circle and Voconiq. Check out our finding's on the EITI's relevance, effectiveness, impact and sustainability. @drtimgrice
The first week of the year has been off to a flying start and we’re excited to be back in the Square Circle office! It’s always great to catch up with our colleagues and jump back into our project work. Here’s to a productive and successful 2023!
Our team just wrapped up a wonderful workshop in Phnom Penh on behalf of #AustraliaAwardsCambodia. Three days of engaging dialogue about inclusive development. Looking forward to continuing the relationships formed to create positive impact in the region.
It was a privilege to work with 47 exceptional #AustraliaAwards#MekongAustraliaPartnership Scholars in Sydney at our Leadership Foundations Workshop. Big thanks to all the scholars for your energy and engagement, and to Australia Awards and DFAT for bringing us all together!
It's an honour to welcome our 47 #AustraliaAwards#MekongAustraliaPartnership scholars to Sydney to attend the Leadership Foundations Workshop with @squarecircledev. This week our scholars will focus on developmental leadership, exploring challenges in the Mekong subregion.
At the core of the methodology is the Vanua, which is the deep relationship between iTaukei people and the natural and spirit world — including the land, sea and sky, and everything in them. Square Circle congratulates our collaborators on the launch.
Honoured to be part of the development of the innovative listening methodology at the heart of the Peacebuilding Approaches to Climate Change in Fijian Communities that was launched by @TranscendOcean1
and @CRbuildpeace.
The session was an opportunity to share about Square Circle's work in the Pacific and to hear about the group's aspirations for development impact in PNG. A lively Q&A was had and no doubt we were talking with some emerging PNG leaders.
Having friends visit the Square Circle office is always a pleasure. We were delighted to share a morning tea yesterday with PNG engineering students from the Archer Leaders Development Program.

Using an indigenous Fijian approach and innovative listening methodology, the project opens up a space for peri-urban communities to offer their insights into the way that climate change is affecting conflict drivers and peacebuilding opportunities. #climatechange#pacific
Vinaka vakalevu Florence Swamy and all the team at the #Pacific Centre for #Peacebuilding for the awesome #ListeningStudy t-shirts that arrived today!
Our Dr Michael Spann and Dr Tim Grice are the models pictured here in the Square Circle Brisbane office.
The project is part of a broader collaboration with @CRbuildpeace and @Centre_Pacific on the Building Peace in Climate Change Affected Communities project in #Fiji

@drtimgrice in Palawan, the #Philippines, talking about the evaluation questions for the global and independent evaluation of the @EITIorg. Vlogs are part of our 'open evaluation' approach to the study. For more vlogs and info on the evaluation, check out https://t.co/NEJAfCwQAr
Just as the @EITIorg is focused on transparency + continuous disclosure, we thought our evaluation of the EITI should be as well. Check out our 'open evaluation' website for the Independent Evaluation of the EITI. More to come. @Mark_EITI@squarecircledev https://t.co/jGwBvO92BO
Using a Fijian-centred listening methodology, PCP field teams are now carrying out a listening study in three informal settlements in the Suva-Nausori corridor.
A great week working with @Centre_Pacific and @CRbuildpeace to deliver an action learning program on qualitative research methods. Held in Suva, the program was part of a wider project on climate change, migration and conflict in the Pacific.
