does anyone else dislike the whole "GB alcoholic" thing? idk why it bothers me so much its such a non-issue but it just seems so incredibly ooc for me and people act likes its canon when Cary (?) literally said it AS A JOKE

i feel like there are so many other coping mechanisms (healthy like journaling or more unhealthy like overworking and avoidance) she would go for rather than something that goes against most of her core values

hope this doesnt come off as tone-deaf i understand that alcoholism is a coping mechanism i just feel like GB would stay away from alcohol (and other drugs) in general knowing the consequences it has and therefore never develop an addiction in the first place

i dont think GB would purposefully subject herself to a state where she isnt able to think or act logically ESPECIALLY while working in her factory she seems to care about her own safety and working with machinery under the influence isnt exactly the most responsible thing to do
