Stubble Burning App is a new tool to help farmers understand the likely weather conditions and upcoming forecast to enable them to plan their burn responsibly. The app is designed for autumn stubble burning and is an initiative of Ricegrowers Association of Australia.

Yield Prophet Lite (YP Lite) is LIVE - check it out today! YP Lite is a Birchip Cropping Group (BCG) initiative built by Square V. Its a free App that farmers can use to estimate potential yield for various crops given different rainfall amounts and fertiliser application rates.

The Yacker App - a tool developed to help farmers and others in Ag connect has just added Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP). This means calls can be placed between users over the internet rather than through mobile carriers. This is a great addition to the App.

We have been visiting the Griffith area in the last few days to learn about the cotton and rice industries and the challenges that irrigators face. It's been really interesting and we've learned a lot, plus had some fantastic Italian food!

@YieldGapAus Didn't realise it would record the internal microphone in my laptop, oops :) The legend is on the right and is currently dynamic based on the rain that has fallen - the top is 26.6mm for this image. Might be able to match the Bureau radar colors in upcoming release.
