@AdrienneHare Yes, sideline gear is very hit and miss and Nike seems to be missing more recently than hitting. Now if growling Bear was on more sideline gear then yes. Glad to see the licenses with @PonchoOutdoors and @criquetshirts, two staple brands in my closet.
@AdrienneHare@BaylorAthletics@Baylor One more question. For example, the growling bear collection that just came out, does Nike recommend that to the school or does in this case Baylor submit design ideas to Nike and then you pick what they come back with?
@AdrienneHare@BaylorAthletics@Baylor Also, regarding newly released growling Bear collection, the green shirts have only the Nike logo but the white shirts have the Nike logo and the interlocking BU. I think adding the BU makes it too busy. Why was that added to the white shirts only?
@AdrienneHare@BaylorAthletics@Baylor It’s always been Growling Bear for me. I get the sailor bear fanaticism and it’s been cool to see but growling Bear has always been my favorite. Glad to see some fresh gear out now with it. Now, the bear paw logo from the early 90’s . That used to be on stuff by itself.
@EASPORTS really need to bring back College Baseball. Played so much NCAA Baseball 2005 on Xbox back then. Especially since @BaylorBaseball was ranked #4 on the game. That was a great team.
@sportslogosnet Rangers fan here, they aren’t the worst CC unis out there but I don’t love them because they tried to cram too many stories into one. I think picking either the Spurs, or Eagles, or Panthers, or Cats could’ve made for a beautiful uniform.
Ok, disclaimer first, I am a @Rangers fan. These could be worse, but for a team w/ a 🔴🔵 identity crisis, they’ve continued that to their CC uniform. They just tried to cram all the DFW baseball history into one uni. Even created a new mythological mascot mashup! @UniWatch 🤦🏻♂️
@DJGloveRepair I actually like pine tar stains on helemets and jerseys (of course I also don’t have to clean them after the game) as it is one of those idiosyncrasies unique to baseball.
What a great looking ballgame. @Orioles in home whites, @Athletics in road grays. Excellent contrasting accent colors with black and orange against green and yellow. Just the way a nice sunny afternoon matchup should look like.
@DJGloveRepair I still remember vividly watching him on tv with a leaping catch against the glass at the Metrodome robbing McGwire when he was still
playing for Oakland.
Just noticed @josh6jung wearing a @WHOOP during the @Rangers game last night. Makes sense. Great biometric data feedback during a game. I’m sure ball players will wear it too if they aren’t already.
