@ClaytonCothran That’s a great mentality. If you’re not competing sometimes it’s good to ask how strong is strong?
Lots of progress can be made without focusing on pounds moved.
Soreness should not be how you determine if a workout was
good or not.
If you are sore to the point you can't move, you probably did too much.
Some soreness is good. To the point where you can't move, means you did more than you needed too.
Adding weight to the bar is fun.
There are other ways to measure progress.
How is the bar moving?
Is it moving faster?
Is it more controlled?
Is your ROM better?
Getting stronger doesn’t always mean adding more weight.
If you’re just getting started with exercise, and fat loss is your goal.
A bodybuilding style - body part split isn’t the way to go.
Try full body training program.
Focus on big movements for awhile.
You will always be busy.
You will always feel tired.
You can’t keep saying if I just get through this week.
At some point you just need to start.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Just start now, and be thankful later.

• REMEMBER IT'S JUST ONE DAY.
It's a rough part of the year.
Holidays, parties, traveling, and inlaws.
Our routine gets broken and its easy to shut down and say, I'll start again next year.
With 6 weeks left.
Even 2x a week, for just 45 min can lead to big changes before the new year.
Don't stop. Keep going.
Did I just lie to my daughter and say that this box of Pudgy’s Cookies was full of broccoli. Yes.
Did I empty the cookies out and put broccoli in it when she looked away. Also yes.
Did she eat the broccoli out of the cookie box? Yes.

There is a good chance you probably are a more than normal amount of candy last night.
It probably wasn’t even on purpose. It just happened because it was there. Either what you were passing out, or what your kids brought home.
