@knipp_brian@OmarKelly I love how you are using the terms Democrats and Republicans here to try to tie it to modern politics, but we both know that those party names in that era have nothing to do with modern politics.
@ckparrot Do we all think Tua will be a locker room cancer if he's paid starter money to be a back up this year? I just look at his cap figures and it might make sense to just let him ride the pine this season vs. the cost of cutting him.
Am I completely reading the numbers wrong?
@stclaudeii Also watch 56 just get eaten by the run fake. And the WLB (didn't catch his number) realize he has inside leverage on Waddle and bail out before the snap. Play design left NOBODY on that side of the field.
@JonScharfman@OmarKelly I don't think Chris Grier's biggest problem was drafting. It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. His biggest problem was prioritizing "value" over retaining your in house talent. See Van Ginkle, Rob Hunt, Wilkins, etc.
@OmarKelly How do you feel about the team's identity shift? Do you think they've become what you've been pounding the table for? How much work is left to get there?
@OmarKelly I think Grier's problem was not seeing talent early and signing them before they get FA. He was always building on the cheap and it shows. Not retaining the talent he drafted is the biggest issue.

Rob Hunt
I'm sure there is more but those are the big 3
