I wrote up a blog post about finding an OpenShift CI issue, that turned out to be a networking bug, that turned out to be a CRI-O bug. Surprise: localhost is special.
It dives in to some lower-level Linuxy bits, if that's your thing.

I went down a deep bicycle-security rabbit hole and discovered: we're kind of fucked.
1. Battery angle grinders can cut almost any lock
2. Nobody will stop you, sawing through a lock in a shower of sparks
3. Lock standards are obsolete, they only care about bolt cutters
Not to mention, FIFA is extraordinarily corrupt, even for a sports organization. Ironically, only the USA had the nerve to criminally investigate them.
All sports is mostly rapscallions, but FIFA is nastier than most.
What's with SF hipsters acting like Premier League soccer teams are somehow obscure or undiscovered?
Ye gods, they're the most valuable sports franchises in the world, with $200,000,000+ annual salaries and empires of merchandising.
@felis_rex Basically yeah. Essentially, go is "leaking" the implementation detail that interfaces are fat pointers.
And now this is a load-bearing design, so it can't be changed without a new language edition. Bah.
@jimmyzelinskie 1: get a Liege waffle. Then get another, just for good measure
2: Moeder Lambic
3: Don't get pickpocketed

Unpopular opinion: Kubernetes should just declare a v2, in the style of Linux.
Enough stuff has changed that 1.0.0 and 1.25 are wildly different beasts. APIs have come and gone, storage and cloud providers have been pulled out of tree, the CRI, etc. etc.
@LiliCosic This is honestly my only complaint, they ship instantly with DHL and I’ve never had any issues. Probably helps that these are supplies and not medicine.
Every couple of months, I have to call to order more of the same diabetes consumables. Every time, they ask me "how many?"

"How about 4 boxes?" is their usual reply.
Americans: treasure the ADA. It is, genuinely, revolutionary.
As I look in to where my diabetic 3yo can go to school here in Germany, the picture is not pretty.
Mastodon cross-posters seem mostly broken; you can find me on https://t.co/uIuXV2EAqN
If anyone has a cross-poster or even hacky script they like, do share. Otherwise this account will be silent.
"If you follow the news, it might sound like voice assistants have failed... The truth is that voice, as the next computing platform that drives billions of dollars of extra revenue, has failed. Instead, users mainly use their voice assistants to manage… https://t.co/Gazd6LOmfh
I know this is not a novel opinion, but 🐘[email protected] is really a fantastic project. A true gem of the open-source model.
