@HumansNoContext Funny thing about boxes like this, often the bottom of the box is barely glued at all so it can often be easier to open the box from the bottom.
@neonnbits@lauriewired@gnukeith I think she might be referring to the rat plushy just behind her. From what I can figure out, Keith is an unofficial mascot of C++, an obese diseased rat with a missing hind leg.
@DavidShaker274@catturd2 The only option I mentioned that might be risky is shouldering the tree. Detaching the bar is the go-to, most recommended option and has zero risk (much less risk than breaking the bar like he did). Using a wedge is easy and lacks risk as long as he isn't doing something dumb.
@MysteryMartianX@pmamtraveller Chinese-American meals were becoming popular in the mid- to late-1800s with the large influx of immigrants from China, and people would travel to various China Towns around the country for meals. By the early 1900s, you even have jazz songs about Chinese dishes.
@DavidShaker274@catturd2 Why sacrifice the bar when he could have just detached the bar, or used a wedge, or shouldered the tree, or a dozen other things? This is day one lessons before you even make your first cut.
@NobodymrRobert If he doesn't know how to remove his bar, or use a wedge, or use a rope or lever on the tree, or however many other options he could have tried, I don't think he will make it past a week without also ripping his femoral open.
@MisterSonnySays@MichaelShanks The way you draw in new people is making the existing fans happy making non-fans curious. When I see fans of some franchise are mad at a movie, why would I want to check out that movie knowing it already sucks according to the people who *should* be happiest?
@Ghost_From1776@Justin_Yurgel@Lthierry_______@Bornakang Yep. 30 minutes maybe if you are making things for the first time and not sure what you are doing, but by the third time, the whole process drops dramatically (especially when you do some clean-up while waiting for things to cook).
@sourpatchlyds If you add each up as D vs. R, D has 2M and R has 1.5M. Looks like D will win in the mid if the same proportion of voters turn out for it.
@damintoell At first I went, "Eww..." but then I remembered I like cottage cheese sprinkled with salt and a few shakes of tabasco sauce (a habit I picked up in boot camp). Probably too close to this for me to be too critical.
